Ruby joined the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center in February 2025, inspired by her love for the Fair Trade Store and the JRPC’s mission to empower communities and promote peace.

As an undergraduate at the University of Montana studying biology, Ruby is passionate about wildlife conservation, environmental stewardship, and creating a more sustainable future. She is dedicated to public education and increasing appreciation of natural systems, believing that fostering understanding is key to lasting environmental change. 

Ruby loves Missoula’s strong sense of community and the experience of working with small local businesses. At the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center, she enjoys promoting fair trade principles through in-store outreach. Ruby finds alignment with JRPC’s values of nonviolence, social justice, and environmental sustainability, and enjoys contributing to meaningful change through her work.
