Kayla started volunteering at the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center in April 2025 and now is a part of the JRPC team working in the shop. She’s passionate about creating a more peaceful, inclusive world and believes that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Kayla hopes to become a sex therapist with a focus on supporting LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. As a member of the community herself, she’s dedicated to uplifting other people in the community and advocating for accessible mental health care for all.

In her free time, Kayla loves crafting, spending time with her cat Padme, and getting outside for hikes. She’s been crocheting for over a decade and hopes to start selling her creations soon. Kayla is excited to be part of the JRPC team and is grateful for the warm welcome.
