Babs Sawyer

Coordinating Council

 A life-long pacifist, Babs heartily believes in the mission of JRPC to support peace, fair trade, equity, diversity, environmental sustainability, and community engagement.  

Babs holds a bachelor´s degree in nursing from MSU, and a master´s degree in psychiatric nursing from the University of Washington and has worked as a psych nurse practitioner and RN for over 40 years. 

Babs feels blessed to live in Missoula, and believes we all can contribute to a thriving and more equitable world through volunteering in our communities. She also enjoys hiking, cycling, cross country skiing, travel, gardening, reading, activism, and spending time with her two incredible daughters.
